Formula of Macro Calculator
The Macro Calculator uses the Mifflin-St Jeor equation to estimate your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), which is then adjusted based on your activity level:
BMR (for men) = 10 * weight + 6.25 * height - 5 * age + 5 BMR (for women) = 10 * weight + 6.25 * height - 5 * age - 161
